PRINCE OF PEACE Staff Devotional Book
A ten week devotional book for camp staff (2019)
Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
Jesus lived in Palestine during the reign of the Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus. At the age of 30 he began a public ministry of teaching and healing that lasted three years. Eventually he was falsely accused of stirring up a rebellion, and he was beaten and executed by crucifixion in Jerusalem. His death paid the penalty for the sins of anyone who would believe in him. On the third day after Jesus’ death and burial, God raised him from the dead in fulfillment of ancient prophecy and his own promise. His resurrection proved it was all true and that he is the only one who can make us right with God. He makes peace. Now he reigns in heaven as the Prince of Peace.
