Meet the Founders
BILL KLEES
Bill has been working at Christian camps since 1990, and is currently Executive Director at Woodcrest Reteat. Previously he has pastored in Towanda, Pennsylvania and served as Program Director at Camp Susque.
Bill received his Master of Divinity degree from Evangelical School of Theology in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. Bill has also spoken at conferences and written articles on staff unity, spiritual development, and the spiritual disciplines. Bill is married to his wife, Heather, and they have four children, Avery, Natalie, Emma, and Alan.
JOEL RISHEL
Since 1988, Joel has been very active in Christian camp ministry, including summer camps, special retreats, and leadership in canoeing and backpacking trips.
Joel received his M.Div. from Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh and is currently pastoring at First Free Church in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Joel is married to his wife, Cindy, and they have four boys, Lucas, Martin, Jude, and Lander.
